Digital Future a Fragile Mix of Promise and Uncertainty, Says Global Internet Report

Internet Society report highlights need to do more to prepare the Internet for the future; asks if we are ready for what’s next

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 18, 2017

The Internet Society (ISOC), a global non-profit dedicated to ensuring the open development, evolution and use of the Internet, today released a first-of-its-kind report aimed at exploring the future of the Internet. Entitled “Paths to our Digital Future,” the 2017 Global Internet Report examines the Internet over the next five to seven years and identifies the factors that will shape its future. The report uncovers a mix of challenges and opportunities in safeguarding the Internet for the next generation and makes recommendations on the steps that can be taken today to realize the Internet’s promise for everyone, everywhere.

The 2017 Global Internet Report considers the many forces that are shaping the Internet today, from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cyber threats, Internet standards and the Internet of Things (IoT), to the Internet economy and the rising role of government. It explores how these forces will impact key areas including digital divides, personal freedoms and rights, as well as media and society. Taken together, these forces will change the Internet in dramatic ways over the coming years.

Some of the key findings contained in the report include:

  • AI and IoT alter lives but could result in a “surveillance society”

Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things hold huge potential to simplify and enhance people’s lives - but only if ethical considerations steer technology development and guide its use. As AI and IoT enable the collection of massive amounts of personal information, there is a risk that without appropriate safeguards and user control, a “surveillance society” could emerge.

  • Increased security concerns could undermine personal freedoms and rights

Cybersecurity issues will pressure governments to take decisions that could erode the open and distributed global governance of the Internet. Measures that may be intended to secure cyberspace may undermine personal rights and freedoms. Without a change of course, online freedoms may be nearing a point of irreversible decline.

  • Optimism still reigns

Younger users and those in developing countries are particularly optimistic about the future of the Internet and the ability to use the technology to better their lives and create their futures.

  • The nature of the digital divide will change

As the Internet transforms every sector of the global economy, the digital divides of the future won’t just be about access to the Internet, but about the gap between the economic opportunities available to some and not to others. The link between security and economic prosperity will grow, leading to the potential of a security divide that separates those individuals or countries who can protect their digital assets and those who cannot.

Outlined in the report are key recommendations for businesses, advocacy organizations, governments and other stakeholders to help ensure that the future Internet remains user-centric and that it continues to work for the benefit of all.

The report notes that advanced deployment of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence will transform whole economies and societies in the coming years through automation and the convergence of the physical and digital worlds. This transformation will change the nature of the digital divide as it has been historically defined – i.e. those that have access to the Internet versus those that do not.

While many in the Internet Society’s global community shared the view that the Internet is facing a period of unprecedented change, they also reaffirmed their belief in the core ideas that have shaped the Internet to date.

“Our extensive research clearly shows that just as when the Internet Society was founded 25 years ago, people believe that the Internet’s core values still remain valid— that it must be global, open, secure, and used for the benefit of people everywhere in the world,” said Sally Wentworth, Vice President of Global Policy for the Internet Society.

Many of the thoughts expressed in the report illustrate a strong, commonly-held belief in the potential of the Internet to continue to bring positive change to people’s lives. Respondents –particularly youth in developing countries--pointed to growth in new technologies and applications as evidence that the Internet continues to fuel innovation, and to the benefits that connectivity can deliver for education, health, economic prosperity and social change.

However, these hopes and beliefs are countered by wide-ranging fears that there are significant forces at work that may undermine the promise of the Internet for future generations. For example, many believe that Internet freedom will continue to decline around the world due to widespread surveillance, Internet shutdowns and content regulation. There is also the view that the media landscape will become more difficult to navigate and that separating fact from fiction will become ever harder.

Some are worried about the threat of new divides and how these will not only deepen existing gaps between countries, but also across society as a whole. In particular, the report explores the emergence of a new security and trust divide characterized by cyber threats that continue to multiply, and a growing rift between users who are security-aware and those who lack the skills, knowledge and resources to protect themselves online.

“We found that people share a sense of both optimism and disillusionment for the Internet’s future in equal measure. While there are no guarantees of what lies ahead, we know that humanity must be at the center of tomorrow’s Internet. The Internet must continue to benefit people and create new social and economic possibilities to fulfill the premise on which it was built. We should heed the warnings in this report and begin to take the actions today that will help to keep the Internet working for everyone, everywhere far into the future,” added Wentworth.

ASC Offers MiFID II-Compliant Recording for Financial Institutions

ASC announced its recording and analytics suite for compliance will help banks comply with stringent documentation requirements and detect compliance violations using automated analytics tools.

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 18, 2017

Banks will need to adjust to stringent requirements as of January 2018; ASC offers MiFID II-compliant recording of consultations and trading activities; ASC’s software complies with legal requirements and detects fraud; BaFin expects London banks will shift to other European countries after Brexit.

ASC announced its recording and analytics suite for compliance will help banks comply with stringent documentation requirements and detect compliance violations using automated analytics tools.

MiFID II, effective as of January 2018, requires financial institutions doing business in Europe to document and preserve all consultations potentially leading to a transaction for at least five years. The directive will have a substantial impact on firms and trading companies providing financial services within the EU. ASC referred to a prediction by BaFIN (German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) anticipating many London banks will shift their operations to other European countries after Brexit.

Marco Mueller, Chief Operating Officer of ASC, said, “Financial regulation and recording requirements will increase exponentially after

the full implementation of MiFID II in January 2018. Our recording solution will help us support banks in Europe with fail-safe recording to meet these new legal requirements.”

INSPIRATIONneo for Compliance detects fraudulent actions through emotion detection and by examining the entire transcript of the conversation as well as specific keywords and phrases. Dr. Gerald Kromer, Chief Executive Officer of ASC, added, “It works in an automated manner for high-volume organizations with an otherwise unmanageable number of interactions, and compliance officers or management are notified immediately about any potential violations.”

Identifying potential cases of fraud and compliance violations is a pre-requisite to protect any financial business. The constant expansion of content and the number of conversations to be recorded and archived every day has presented an ongoing challenge to identifying problematic incidents, and critical time is saved by evaluating conversations for fraudulent actions in an automated manner.

ASC’s entire portfolio is available via the Cloud as well as on-premise solutions. For more information about compliance recording, please review ASC’s white paper on that topic.

G2 Crowd finds Patriot Payroll tops satisfaction ratings while ADP Workforce Now earns highest overall market presence score

Chicago (PRWEB) September 18, 2017

G2 Crowd, the world’s leading business software review platform, today released the Fall 2017 Payroll Software Grid report to help businesses make the best payroll technology buying decision. ADP Workforce Now, UltiPro, SurePayroll, QuickBooks Desktop Pro, PeopleSoft, Dayforce, and ADP RUN were named Leaders in the report, receiving a strong customer satisfaction score with a large market presence.

Patriot Payroll, Justworks, APS Payroll Solution, EBS PaySuite, Wagepoint, eStratEx, and Fuse Workforce Management were named High Performers in the report, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. Patriot Payroll earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while ADP Workforce Now earned the highest overall market presence score.

This report also breaks down the payroll category, based on market presence and customer satisfaction score, for Small-Business, Mid-Market, and Enterprise reviewers. At the small-business level, Patriot Payroll earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while ADP Workforce Now earned the highest overall market presence. In the mid-market segment, ADP Workforce Now earned the highest overall satisfaction score and the highest overall market presence score. Finally, at the enterprise level, UltiPro earned the highest overall satisfaction score, while ADP Workforce Now earned the highest overall market presence score.

The Grid leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender or Niche.

Key Findings:

  • Ease of use — Users said that payroll software’s ease of use, range of integrations, and available customer support was integral to their satisfaction. With the category average Ease of Use score at 87%, all of the High Performers in the Payroll Grid℠ had an above-average score, compared to only one Leader with an above average Ease of Use score. This could suggest that smaller vendors are taking stake in the market and collecting highly satisfied customers by making easy-to-use products.
  • High-quality customer support — According to users, customer support is a key component of user satisfaction. All of the products included in the High Performer quadrant had an above-average Quality of Support rating, compared to only two products in the Leader quadrant with an above average Quality of Support rating. This could suggest that smaller payroll software vendors are putting a greater emphasis on customer support than larger companies.
  • Clunky interface — According to user reviews, clunky user interfaces were significant contributors to a bad product experience. Users disliked products that did not offer intuitive navigation, require too many clicks, and have slow network speeds. Those three factors contributed to a tiresome and unrewarding experience for many unsatisfied users.

About the Payroll Software Grid report:

  • The report is based on more than 2,574 reviews written by business professionals.
  • Of the 89 products listed in G2 Crowd’s Payroll category, the ranked products each received ten or more reviews to qualify for inclusion on the Grid.

Bureau of Reclamation Awards $20,000 for Ideas to Solve Issues About Detecting Soil Movement within Earthen Dams, Canals and Levees

People share $20,000 for their ideas to help Reclamation detect soil movement within earthen dams, canals and levees

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 18, 2017

Reclamation has selected five ideas as potential solutions for the Detection of Movement of Soils within Earthen Dams, Canals and Levees prize competition. Ted Grygar of San Diego, California, and David Orlebeke of Ridgecrest, California, were selected as having the two top ideas. Each received $6,250.

This prize competition sought methods to detect the movement of material earlier than observable by currently used visual inspection and instrumentation methods. This could help prevent the loss of life, property and interruption of the service the infrastructure provides.

Grygar's solution proposes using geophones and an impact hammer as an active seismic solution in a permanent installation. "The solution has options including refraction tomography and shear wave reflection depending on the geophones used," Grygar said. "It may be best suited for smaller structures. Larger structures may need geophones or sources placed at depth."

Orlebeke's solution was based on unique magnetic sensor called superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) with extremely high sensitivity for low level magnetic fields with ability to detect their minimal changes. SQUID was used to register small changes of Earth's magnetic field near underground areas with movement of soil (internal erosion). Combining obtained data with GPS coordinates permits mapping of internal erosion areas within earthen dams, canals, levees and their foundations.

Others selected to receive $2,500 each through this prize competition are Jean-Louis Briaud of College Station, Texas, for a robot enabled underwater flowmeter, Cliff Gilbert of Southborough, Massachusetts, for a brine water seepage tracer and Michal Kardauskas of Billerica, Massachusetts, for shear-wave reflection seismic imaging.

Reclamation collaborated with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the State of Colorado Dam Safety Program to design and judge this prize competition.

Possible Use of Aspirin to Regrow Teeth Highlights the Importance of Ongoing Care from Comprehensive and Up-to-Date Dental Providers, says Dr. Farzad Feiz

Commenting on a recent article, the chief dentist of California Dental Group and Calabasas Dental Care notes that new developments in dentistry are happening all the time, and it takes a skilled dental team to know how to best employ them.

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) September 18, 2017

A September 7 article on BBC News describes new research at Northern Ireland’s Queen’s University in Belfast indicating that aspirin, one of the world’s most common and least expensive medications, may be able to stimulate stem cells and regrow portions of decayed teeth. Los Angeles area dentist Dr. Farzad Feiz of California Dental Group and Calabasas Dental Care says that, while it’s likely to be some time before dentists will be able to avoid the need for filling cavities by simply growing them away with an aspirin-derivative medication, patients will need the help of an experienced and knowledgeable dentist to benefit.

Dr. Feiz notes that every day, new advances in oral health are being made, but not every new dental product is necessarily appropriate for any given patient. The important thing, he says, is to have the assistance of a team of dental professionals who really understand how the latest dental advances and technology should be applied to ensure that patients get the maximum benefit. For example, for patients who are missing teeth due to oral health problems or an accident, a dental implant is now the gold standard replacement because it not only looks and functions just like a real tooth, but because it’s the only type of replacement that actually prevents bone loss related to the loss of the tooth. At the same time, Dr. Feiz points out that there are several types of implant, and a great deal of work goes into making sure that they function properly while providing the patient with a natural looking and attractive replacement. He adds that it takes an expert and experienced dentist to understand the patient’s needs and make the correct choices.

From digital x-rays to new ways of making dental crowns, Dr. Feiz notes that the dental field is changing rapidly but only an experienced dentist can be relied on to understand how to employ those changes. Whether patients need a root canal, a cavity filled, or just a regular exam and teeth cleaning to stop potentially serious problems before they start, the doctor notes that it’s always best to have a dentist with the expertise to make the very best possible use of them.

Interested readers who would like learn more about working with the two Southern California offices founded by Dr. Farzad Feiz can reach them by phone or over the Internet. The public is invited to contact California Dental Group in West Los Angeles at (310) 955-4008 or Calabasas Dental Care, located in the Western San Fernando Valley at (818) 660-0731. They can learn more about Dr. Feiz’s offices as his web site: http://www.FeizDental.com.

dentCHECK® at easyJet – Making Aircraft Dent-mapping Easy

Industry-leading low-fare innovator joins the growing ranks of dentCHECK users.

(PRWEB) September 18, 2017

dentCHECK from 8tree® is now being used by easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, to improve dent-mapping efficiency for its aircraft maintenance operations.

easyJet is using dentCHECK to assess up to 80% of the dent damage that occurs on its fleet and predicts its use could potentially reduce assessment times by a similar amount.

easyJet will also assess damage reworks and submit to Airbus as supplementary information to the current measuring methods. This will be done with a view to help expand the existing scope of Airbus’ approval of dentCHECK, to also include measuring of reworks.

“When looking at damage measurement solutions we considered ease of use, flexibility, information provided and cost per unit and carried out a two-day evaluation of the dentCHECK system at our Luton maintenance facility in November 2016 in which we used the system to assess a rework of a passenger window frame following a lightning strike”, said Gary Smith, Head of Engineering at easyJet. “Airbus issued notification that dentCHECK had been accepted as an approved tool on the same day and we submitted a tech request, with the full scan data, to Airbus the very next morning."

“We were impressed with the speed and relative simplicity of 8tree’s dentCHECK system compared with other available systems and worked closely with 8tree to assist with development of the system to better suit our requirements. The dentCHECK system and the associated I.T. support are currently being integrated into easyJet’s maintenance operation for both routine and AOG events. The system has been used on several AOG events to date and feedback from the engineers involved has been positive, stating that it greatly reduces the assessment time and allows easy and quick acquisition of dimensions and report generation."

“We are confident dentCHECK will prove to be a great benefit to maintenance operations allowing easyJet to return aircraft to service more quickly and efficiently, therefore reducing disruption,” Smith said. We look forward to further enhancing the system as operational experience increases.”

"We are excited to welcome easyJet to the family of dentCHECK users", said Arun Chhabra, CEO, 8tree. "During their diligent evaluation process – supported by 8tree’s sales partner G2Metric UK – easyJet shared candid feedback allowing us to make dentCHECK an even more robust purpose-built tool for the aviation maintenance industry. Their adoption of dentCHECK is a strong validation of 8tree’s rigorous design philosophy to create highly accurate and efficient inspection tools that empower users of all skill levels with ‘go/no-go’ answers, not just data. We look forward to enabling easyJet’s operations and having them experience 8tree’s exceptional customer service”.

dentCHECK is the world's only handheld portable and completely wireless 3D scanner to be formally approved and published in Airbus' Tool Equipment Manuals (TEMs) for the express purpose of dent-mapping on metallic aero-structures. Other aircraft OEMs are expected to issue similar guidance in the coming weeks, enabling more airlines to implement dentCHECK to boost their maintenance efficiency.

In addition to the scope of Airbus' TEM publication, dentCHECK at its core, is a 3D dent-mapping and blend-out tool, that delivers 'go/no-go' SRM-compliant answers in seconds -- all with the click of a single button. In previously documented customer case-studies, dentCHECK drastically reduces inspection and reporting times by 90%.

dentCHECK empowers aircraft maintenance operations with first-of-its-kind objective and consistent dent-inspection results. This reduces aircraft Turn-around-Time (TaT), which in turn reduces lost revenues and improves operational efficiency for airlines. dentCHECK enhances safety through an improved understanding of airframe reliability.

Author Henry A. Burns announces release of his debut novel

SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) September 19, 2017

In a story of fate, second chances and redemption, an unlikely partnership forms between a young alien and an old human widower that will change the future of both their worlds in new sci-fi adventure, “Redemption Song: The Beginning of the Rynn-Human Alliance” (published by Archway Publishing) by author Henry A. Burns.

Small Snow Flower, a child of wealth and privilege, is a member of a highly intelligent space-faring species called the Rynn. Although she is young and untested, she is given a trading ship to command by her father. But just months into her first voyage there is a mutiny, and Small Snow Flower finds herself marooned on a primitive planet, believing she will die alone. Elsewhere, a bitter old man named Jeremy Blunt has been mourning the death of his wife for the past 50 years, cutting himself off from the world and living alone in a forest cabin, believing he will die alone. But they soon find that their worlds are about to change forever.

“Redemption is not a destination, it is a journey,” says Burns. “This book is that journey. Two lonely people, each thinking their lives were over, find each other. And in finding each other, change worlds.”

Burns also explores the fragility of modern society. “The smallest push can break it,” the author explains. In “Redemption Song,” society faces enormous pressures – and its inhabitants must struggle to find their place, and each other, in a treacherous landscape.

Leading developer of career exploration software launches an all-new program for grade 6-12 students and changes the company name

Toronto, ON (PRWEB) September 19, 2017

Today Career Cruising, a leading developer of career exploration and planning software, is launching a new program and a new identity: Xello. This all-new program helps students create successful futures through self-knowledge, exploration, and planning. The new identity reflects the company’s growth and evolution from a web-based CD-ROM program released 20 years ago to a SaaS-model education program that’s used by leading K-12 districts, libraries, workforce development centers, and other organizations throughout The Americas.

Xello is a brand new program that helps students plan their own unique journey whether it involves a trade, college, university, entrepreneurship, or other training. Every aspect of the program was built with the user in mind and optimized through extensive testing with students and educators. “In every nook and cranny we could find, we’ve integrated the student into our software,” said Xello CEO, Matt McQuillen. “This program is for all students—not just the self-motivated achievers and forward-thinking planners. We want to reach the discouraged students, the ones who are neutral about school and their next steps. We want them all to be able to create a plan for their future.”

Along with in-depth assessments and a comprehensive database of careers, schools, and programs, Xello also includes built-in curriculum support via interactive lessons, course-planning, and easy-to-use tools to help educators and administrators identify student pathways and make data-driven decisions about their readiness programs. The program was built to meet strict accessibility standards and compatibility with any device.

Together with the launch of a brand new program, Career Cruising has rebranded as Xello, a name that’s global, happy and focused on the future. “When we reflect on our own identity as a company, we can clearly see that our mission has always been about creating successful futures, and that we’ve always approached this challenge in our own unique way,” said Xello President, Jeff Harris. “The transition to Xello is not in any way a departure from our company’s proud history. It’s a natural progression – the result of a continued deepening of our commitment to helping people.”

Bureau of Reclamation Awards $20,000 for Ideas to Limit Rodents from Burrowing into Canals, Levees and Earthen Dam Embankments

Reclamation selects five ideas to limit burrowing rodents into canals, levees and earthen dam embankments. Burrowing rodents provide a pathway for water to move through and erode the embankment, potentially causing serious issues for the surrounding communities.

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 19, 2017

The Bureau of Reclamation has selected five ideas to receive $20,000 to limit rodents from burrowing into canals, levees and earthen dam embankments. The two top ideas submitted will each receive $5,500. Edem Tsikata of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Lawrence Kearns of Chicago, Illinois, were selected as the top prize winners.

Rodents can burrow through both sides of an embankment providing a pathway for water to move through and erode the embankment, potentially causing serious issues for the surrounding communities. Burrows may also intersect or expose other anomalies in the embankment that may result in a failure of the embankment. Offending rodents include squirrels, badgers, moles, muskrats, mice and beavers.

Tsikata's idea proposes installation of a geotextile with embedded steel wool as a barrier cloth placed on or just under the embankment surface. It addresses rodent burrow prevention, is likely to be effective long-term, and allows small vegetation and moisture to penetrate the mesh. "I had read about a thorny plant (African Myrrh) used to deter lions in Southern Africa and steel mesh used to prevent damage by beavers in Germany," Tsikata described. "I thought combining these ideas might solve the problem."

Kearns’ solution proposes a subsurface cut-off wall approach that is known to be technically viable. However, the wall would be constructed using a unique hydro-excavation technique that would create a narrower trench, with less structural impact to the embankment, than what has previously been used for this application.

Others selected to receive prizes are: John McNabb of Pocatello, Idaho, for proposing the introduction of natural predators combined with hydro-seeded plant deterrents ($4,000), Leaf Jiang of Lexington, Massachusetts, for proposing a robotic smart trap ($2,500), and a team led by David Orlebeke of Ridgecrest, California, for proposing a wind-powered subsurface random acoustic emitter ($2,500).

The Bureau of Reclamation collaborated with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the State of Colorado Department of Natural Resources Dam Safety Division, and federal canal operating entities including the Boise Project Board of Control and the South Columbia Basin Irrigation District, to design and judge this prize competition.

Levels playing field for businesses, online advertisers, tracks sales leads

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 19, 2017

Traaqr (pronounced tracker) announced today the public release of the first fully-automated platform to track online to offline call conversions with the same precision and ease as an e-commerce transaction for businesses of all sizes. Traaqr’s technology seamlessly tracks calls, leads and even sales and takes this data and uploads it to ad platforms (like AdWords) to dynamically teach these platforms which clicks not only drive calls but which clicks drive the most profitable sales.

“Businesses and their agencies have been forced to fly blind, when it comes to online to offline conversions, for years; this was unacceptable to us,” said Brian Handrigan, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Traaqr. “We knew there had to be a way to solve this problem, and with 20+ years experience in digital agencies, we had the ability to solve it. We also knew we had to deliver a platform that was transparent to the users and connect the data without requiring changes in workflow.”

Traaqr now becomes publicly after a successful Beta period during which the platform:

  • Connected over 90,000 phone calls;
  • Tracked over 500,000 web visitors;
  • Optimized over $878,000 in Adwords spend;
  • and, Recorded over $3,000,000 in conversion value.

“The results of our largest Beta user have exceeded our expectations,” said Jeff Linihan, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Traaqr. “They experienced a 34 percent reduction in monthly advertising costs while increasing monthly sales by as much as 53.7 percent.”

Closing the loop between on online and offline conversion tracking that increases sales and reduces costs, Traaqr is a problem-solving tool – designed for agencies and advertisers that need to know more than which clicks resulted in a call. Rather, it allows companies to know which clicks result in leads and/or sales and how to find more of them for less money. And to make the process seamless, Traaqr integrates with the leading CRM, Web Analytics, and Online Ad Platforms.

Traaqr is available now at http://www.traaqr.com. Monthly subscriptions start at $39/ month with no long-term contracts.

Financial Poise™ Webinars and West LegalEdcenter are pleased to announce the September 27th premiere of a new webinar series “LEGAL ETHICS – BEST PRACTICES 2017," designed to introduce attorneys and business owners to ethical decision making. Professor George Kuney of the University of Tennessee moderates panelists from Sugar Felsenthal Grais & Hammer, the University of Tennessee and University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) September 19, 2017

Corporate scandals make the headlines periodically, but businesses and the lawyers that work with them face ethical challenges every day, even in situations that are legally compliant. This Financial Poise Webinar series examines ethical issues confronted by businesses in a variety of contexts, from so called “grey areas” to those involving outright corruption. The panels consider and recommend different approaches to ethical decision-making and the lawyer's role in advising business clients.

The first episode of the series, Best Practice Regarding Technology, airs on September 27th at 1pm CST (Register Here) and features moderator Professor George Kuney of The University of Tennessee. He is joined by Professor Nancy Rapoport of UNLV, Professor Paula Schaefer of the University of Tennessee, and Lisa Vandesteeg of Sugar Felsenthal Grais & Hammer.

Technology is rapidly changing the way that lawyers and businesses interact (e.g. email; data rooms). This creates new and different challenges to confidentiality, attorney-client privilege and the creation of a detailed record of negotiations and interactions. This webinar will describe the problems and some solutions that arise out of the changing manner and pace of business law practice.

The LEGAL ETHICS – BEST PRACTICES 2017 series is sponsored by EisnerAmper. Future episodes in the series include "Hot Off the Press- Recent Cases & Decisions," airing on October 25th and "How to Avoid Malpractice & Disciplinary Actions - General Do's and Don'ts," airing on November 15th. All episodes will be available live through West LegalEdcenter and then on-demand following the live premiere.

Each episode is delivered in Plain English understandable to business owners and executives without much background in these areas. Yet, each episode is proven to be valuable to seasoned professionals. As with all Financial Poise Webinars, each episode in the series brings you into engaging, sometimes humorous, conversations designed to entertain as it teaches. And, as with all Financial Poise Webinars, each episode in the series is designed to be viewed independently of the other episodes, so that participants will enhance their knowledge of this area whether they attend one, some, or all of the episodes.
